The Australian Labradoodle is slowly moving towards recognition as a breed.  Tallai's breeding program started with "Origin Labradoodles" (Labrador and Poodles only).  We have also included the "Multi-Gen" (Three or more of the parent breeds) now called "Australian Foundation Labradoodles" over our girls and are delighted with the results, We have started  some new lines from scratch with registered ANKC Labrador and Miniature Poodle as well brining in some English / American Cocker Spaniel / Poodle lines as well.

We always put '
Health' first and foremost. Second is 'Trainability' whether that be in obedience, agility or therapeutic assistance and then the rest. Therefore during these early developing years it will be sometimes hard to exactly predict the size and colour that our puppies will end up when fully grown.  If you are interested in the background of any of our dogs please contact us.  Our goals over the next few years are to breed new generations of Labradoodles both "Origin" and "Australian Foundation Labradoodles" and play our part in contributing towards the future of the breed, while providing families across Australia with Healthy & Happy Intelligent companions.  For more information please visit the links listed further below.

The Three stages of The Australian Labradoodle

"Origin Labradoodle"

The Origin Labradoodle is the first stage of the breed a dog/puppy with Labrador and Poodle lines only in any generation from the original lab/poodle cross, backcross and up the generation ladder so long as only Labrador and Poodle lines are present.

"Australian Foundation Labradoodle"

The Australian Foundation Labradoodle is the middle Stage.  This is where the other  excepted breeds are worked into the Origin lines.  By using one of the other 6 breeds or a dog who is already a Australian Foundation Labradoodle most breeders are at this stage.

"The Australian Labradoodle"

Our New Breed :) The final stage of many years of hard work. Sometime in the future breeders from around the world will together, having followed the same strict Guidelines and Standards  set out by the International Australian labradoodle Association will present the breed to the ANKC and or the AKC to be recognised.
